The Southwest Data Science Conference (SDSC) is a premier event series dedicated to the advancement of data science, artificial intelligence, and analytics. Moving beyond its traditional roots, this special Mid-Atlantic edition aims to catalyze innovation along the East Coast.
SDSC 2026 will feature a diverse range of tracks including AI and Applied Data Science, Biomedical and Health Informatics, Cyber Data Science, and Business AI as well as their interactions. With ODU's leadership, this year's conference promises to be a hub for discussing the future of data-driven decision-making, offering attendees a unique blend of technical deep dives and networking opportunities against the backdrop of the Atlantic Ocean.

Paper submissions should be limited to a maximum of 15 pages in LNCS format. Accepted papers are planned to publish in Springer proceedings. Besides the proceeding publications, the selected papers will be further recommended to publish in the following SCI-index journals: BMC Bioinformatics, industrial management & data systems (IMDS), Journal of Electronic Commerce Research, Computational Biology and Chemistry (CBAC), Information Systems, and other leading journals in the fields besides proceeding publication.
